Alina Mardare's Art

So, I’m convinced that The Magazine PPP (PointsPointPoints) really exists. A new generation of artists “produced” by the local art university (The University of Arts, Iasi), proved that their project exists vividly. Today I witnessed the launching show of the first DVD edition called “Real Space VS Virtual Space”. The DVD presents new media artistic projects containing audio and video performances, video manipulation and some video documentation, interviews. Surprisingly the editors, visual artists themselves, hired a professional speaker (an actor) to comment and animate the presentation. And this is a very well thinking act of combining arts since the magazine succinct presentation combined arts, itself. Also the ‘public’ (must say that today the public was formed only by “les connaisseurs” of art and contemporary art) was allowed to contribute with a short moment of Performance . I’ll share more about the artists presented in this edition only if I’ll find some of their projects on Youtube and/or only if I’ll be allowed to publish them further. The About Art Conference “Outside The Art System” by Zdenka Badovinac (Moderna Galerija, Ljubljana) took place today in Iaşi (România) at The University of Arts (Visual Arts Faculty). The organiser who bears the “guilt” , for emerging art culture events in Iasi, is Ph.D lecturer Cristian Nae who teaches “Politics of Identity in Eastern-European art after 1989″. The main subject was focused on early avant-garde movements in Yugoslavia (’60 – ‘70 – ‘80). Some groups like Gorgona and OHO were displayed and analyzed related to the international art context.

Ca majoritatea romanilor n-am ratat o invitatie la gratar de 1 mai. Pe C.A. Rosetti in sus sau in jos oricum treceai nu puteai arunca un ac de multimea masinilor romanilor platitori de rate. Sufera romanul cate un an, an dupa an, tace si inghite in sec, plateste la rate pana bo..ste adica (pardon!) vomita dar si cand e sarbatoare stie sa se bucure de natura si de viata. Asta am facut si noi alaturi de ceilalti ieseni lipiti, de caldura verii ce se anunta, de poalele padurii. De cum coborai Ticaul si partia de schi din Sararie vedeai masinuta dupa masinuta si gratarel dupa gratarel fiecare cu ce-o avut stapanu’ chiar si numa’ c-o ceapa dar tot gratar a fost. Deh, evident ca fiecare s-a straduit de un mic sau unu mai mare, ca doara Pastele si unu mai is doar o data pe an ) Si acum: “La Munca si Nu La ‘Ntins Mana! Whooo! Ca doar nu suntem nici nomazi si nici corturari!” Si stiu ca stiti ce-nseamna sa te trezesti la patru jumate dimineata, sa-ti faci frizura si sa-ti asezi frumos dupa cap saptamanalul glob al lui Atlas. Hai ca a-nceput saptamana! Gata weekend-ul!
